Trusted by Australian Home Owners.

Family Owned.

We are a family owned business based out of Toowoomba in Queensland, Australia.

In 2015 we started to explore the idea of importing specialty tiles, in 2016 we looked at buying several different tile businesses. That being said in 2017 we imported our first shipment of high quality tiles into Australia and opened our doors to trade in early 2018.

Our vision is to be the most loved specialty tile supplier in Australia. That means we’ve got a long way to go! Everything we do flows from that. How we source tiles and suppliers to how we approach every element of our business. It’s our uncompromising commitment to quality. It’s about doing what we believe in; being proudly Australian owned and making a difference in people’s lives.

Rich with History.

In the 15th century, the central Iberian town of Talavera de la Reina became so internationally renowned for its ceramics that it was called “La Ciudad de la Cerámica,” or the “The City of Ceramics.”

The people of Puebla, Mexico inherited the knowledge of the Talavera technique during construction of the Church of Santo Domingo, which began in 1571. The Santo Domingo was completed in 1611 and remains one of the most impressively ornate interiors in the world and a superb example of Mexican baroque.

Talavera flourished in Puebla during the 16th century, establishing the workshops and guilds. The town is now a beautiful collection of colonial era buildings covered in Talavera tiles.

Our Guide

Why Choose Jaha Tiles

Our authentic handmade tiles should not be compared to machine-made look-a-like imitations. Small variations should be expected between tiles such as: crazing; size; weight; and with the hand painted decorations.

These differences form the unique character and charm of these genuine artisan pieces.
